Today is FRIDAY! Praise the Lord! It has been the longest week EVER! I don’t know if anyone else felt like Thursday (yesterday) was Friday this week but I definitely did, so today is just an extra day. lol!

Now that it’s the weekend I will usually get a little more dressed up then I do during the week. On the weekends I will go out with friends and family to visit places, dinner, or the movies. These are times I like to be more creative with the pieces in my outfits. When the fall temps roll around it is sometimes a challenge to dress the way I want to and stay warm and comfortable at the same time. Some days I’m up for the challenge and on others I just throw on some leggings or sweats and call it a day. But today I’m here to show you how you can maximize pieces of your wardrobe to stay warm and chic!

A great combination that is a go to for me is a dress with knee high/ over the knee boots. This look is all about appearing one way and feeling another. You can look chic and put together while still remaining warm and comfortable. On a cooler night I wear a dress that has sleeves to keep my arms warm and boot socks underneath my boots to keep my legs warm. If you do this about 75% of your body is covered and warm while still showing some skin.

There are some times where you don’t need sleeve or boot coverage. If you feel like the knee high boots are too hot for fall then they can easily be switched out for booties and you can go for sleeves that are sheer like the ones that I am wearing in this post.

Hope these tips are helpful and allow you to take full advantage of fall. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers to the weekend!
