One of the many benefits of teacher life is winter break! I say this because it allowed me time at home to start one of my New Years resolutions , eating clean. This past week was a time for me to reset. I started drinking smoothies for breakfast. I love drinking smoothies for breakfast in warm weather and usually prefer to drink warm drinks like tea in the winter. However, I’m feeling motivated with the beginning of the new year. I make smoothies with all fresh fruits and veggies. This is my favorite way to start the mornings after working out. I am one of those people that does not like to eat soon after waking up so smoothies are perfect for me!



Ways that I plan to keep up with my smoothies during the year isn’t anything new but may be a reminder of things to keep in mind.

  1. Pre-cut fruit
  2. Make sure you always have fresh produce
  3. Have a set time to in your morning routine for breakfast
