FOOD RECAP

The past few weeks I have been enjoying cooking some different things. Now . . . I’m not top chef or anything but in order to keep myself “on track” I like to plan meals ahead of time and make enough so that I have some for the next few days. Here are some of my favorites from the past few weeks.

BREAKFAST

Eggs – I like mine with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, and a little cheese.

Grapefruit – I have been obsessed with grapefruit lately! Not only is it good for your metabolism but the slightly tart citrus taste is perfect for an early morning.

Smoothie – Smoothies are so easy to take with you on the go and they’re easy to pack with vitamins and nutrients.

LUNCH

Wraps – Mine usually include some type of protein. Humus, chicken, or turkey with some fresh veggies inside.

SNACK

Fruit – I like to have an apple with almond butter and chocolate chips for a little something sweet.

Nuts – Almonds with some cheese and dried cranberries is the perfect combination.

DINNER

Salad – I could eat a salad topped with Salmon every night!

These aren’t what I have every night, I do like to switch things up so that I don’t get bored but this is what I am enjoying lately. What’s on your list?
