MY FAVORITE SUMMER TO FALL TRANSITIONAL COLOR

Hey! Ok, so I took the last week off to be depressed/ not think about/ relax one last time before my summer vacation comes to an end. As hard as it is for me to believe Nick did look at me and say “Noelle it’s almost September.” I still can’t believe how fast August flew by. I am definitely gonna miss the freedom of summer but there is a tiny part of me that is excited for cozy fall clothes and tv shows.

One of my favorite ways to transition into the season is to change up the colors in my wardrobe. In the summer I wear the color white everyday. In the early days of fall I keep white around but I love the richer colors like olive, mustard, and plum when the weather cools down. There is just something about rich tones in soft wools and suedes that gives me all the fall feels. One of the first colors that I  pull out of my closet when I feel a change in the season is olive.

Honestly I wear this color all year round. It pairs well with almost every color. Its looks amazing with white! One of the reasons why it is so easy to wear when transitioning from summer to fall. But if I wear it alone like this dress that I bought from H&M I don’t feel too far removed from summer. Especially when styled with lace up suede sandals.

What are you doing to hold on to summer? Or are you ready for fall?
